When we were in Morocco, we bought a new beautiful rug that really doesn't go with the cushions on the sofa. That's fine. I never liked them. So I had a look for new, fitting ones and during that process found a few other things that are very high on my home wishlist now. How long until Christmas again?
These are my two favourite cushions, I have always loved the patterns in the Missoni Home collections (you can find many of the cushion covers on eBay too for about half the price) and I think this one would go great with the fluffy Anthropologie one.
This tray is from the Amostra Sand collection by Rablas. It would look perfect on our wooden table and is just such a unique piece.
Never have I not found anything in Anthropologie's home section. I'm not the biggest cheese fan but this would make a great chopping or presentation board.
These dessert plates by Suite One Studio in pink with gold are so pretty. I'd actually like everything in my kitchen cupboard to look like this. They've got a few other amazing colours too so perfect to mix and match.
This beverage dispenser of course is really nothing I, or most people, need. Especially not in a small London flat. But I feel like the design would really add to the kitchen and I could always have chilled cucumber water on hand.
Yes, I know we just bought a rug but you can never have enough right?!
Another amazing tray. I actually wanted one of these for ages and West Elm has currently got a great collection of vintage handmade Moroccan trays. Etsy and eBay will be other great places to source these. Just make sure they don't look too shiny or else they may look cheap.
These copper mugs are made especially for Moscow Mules but I would rather use them for cups of tea. I'm not sure how they'd cope with the heat but if they are cannot be used for hot drinks, I can still use them for the cucumber water from my new (fingers crossed) beverage dispenser.
Our recipe books keep on falling from the kitchen shelf because I haven't managed to find any nice book ends but those days may now be gone with these stripy beauties. They come with brown wooden or grey stripes.
I never knew that I didn't just need mugs, I need tea bowls too. I love these ones from Imperial Teas in pink and yellow. Would go great with the pink dessert plates too. I may soon invite people over for tea ceremonies.
Finally some measuring cups that don't have to be hidden in a drawer like my current plastic one. These copper cups would be way to pretty to hide, they need to shine.
